"Whatever is true, ..whatever is pure, whatever is lovely - if anything is excellent or praiseworthy - think about such
things."
So wrote Rabbi Sha'ul of Tarsus in the 1st Century; and it's good advice. When we empty our mind in meditation we have no way of filtering the energy that comes in, but
if we focus on what we already know to be positive, we gain new insight into the beneficial wisdom found in such places as the ancient scriptures. Choose from the writings of Sha'ul, the wisdom of
Solomon, the spiritual insight of Yochanan or the eternal words of Yeshua. Focus on a phrase, turn it over in your mind and drink in the depth of meaning; gain new insights into these passages of
life that have been passed down to us over the millenia. Commit them to memory, quietly pondering them deep within.
